Origin[edit | edit source]

Considered to be the bane of spelunkers, they've began taking residence in large, mundane objects that have been placed within Ancestral ruins for as as long as the Plebs can remember, where they hibernate peacefully if left undisturbed. As of late, some Mimics have been spotted in exterior areas as well, though it is unclear if they have been carried all over the land by workers unaware of their existence, or by other means.

Interestingly enough, these supernatural beings have never been seen outside of whatever they choose to wear as a shell, disappearing into thin air as soon as it breaks.

Rumors[edit | edit source]

  • It is said that those who die by the Mimic are in fact killed by curiosity, as they can be easily avoided due to their loud snoring.
  • A keen eye may also spot their subtle movements, so adventurers that are hard of hearing also stand a chance.
